In the photo world’s blogosphere and Twitter feeds, there’s a steady stream of posts with titles like “30 stunning images of [fill in the blank].” You know the type: big collections of images that all fit a theme like “Water,” “Surfing shots,” “Action photos,” or “Panorama Landscapes.”

While none of us has the time to actually browse every single one of these posts, most of them are indeed filled with gorgeous and inspiring imagery, so I cruised around the web for a while today and selected a few that I’d like to share with you. (I’m also doing this to give these photographers the visibility they deserve, but unfortunately, they’re not all credited.)

37 Creative and Intense Photographs of Leaves
Leaves, leaves and more leaves, many of them left over from fall. Since many of us haven’t even seen a leaf for a few months now, this one had me reminiscing.

32 Beautiful photos of Everyday Life
Many of these themed galleries are full of nature, wildlife and landscape images tied together by things like water, rain and fog. This gallery has a theme we don’t see very often: regular, everyday people living their lives out in the world. Definitely some great shots in this batch!

25 Breathtaking Examples of Nature Photography
Mountains. Rivers. Lakes. Trees. Waterfalls. Deserts. Jungles. Snow. You name it, it’s all in here. Really nice collection of photographs.

35 Brilliant Examples of Rain Photography
As I said, rain seems to be a common theme in these conceptual galleries. While some people quickly tuck away their cameras as soon as the first few drops of water fall from the sky, those that don’t often get amazing shots in the rain.

30 Examples of Perfectly Timed Action Photography
I came across this one last week and was blown away by some of the shots in this collection. A few of them are simply outstanding!

I’m sure that you’ll come across even more posts like these in your Twitter feed this week, but take a few minutes to enjoy and be inspired. There are so many great photographs out there!
